Family Scholar House Celebrated Largest Graduating Class In Program History

Family Scholar House welcomed over 100 neighbors from the community to help celebrate two exciting events on the Gladys and Lewis "Sonny" Bass Louisville Scholar House Campus. The Academic Services Center is officially open and operating on campus to benefit residential and non-residential program participants, and 11 of the residential participants are celebrating their recent graduations from local colleges and universities. Family Scholar House Receives Edson Tax Credit Excellence Award

Family Scholar House received the Charles L. Edson Tax Credit Excellence Award for Special Needs Housing for its development of the Louisville Scholar House campus.  This was the 16th annual presentation of the Charles L. Edson Tax Credit Excellence Awards by the Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition (AHTCC) and the first award to be received by a Louisville nonprofit organization.  As a national award program, the Edson awards celebrate the best in affordable rental housing development across the country.  For a the full story download the press release.
